My Christmas Make-Up

Since Christmas is always very fancy in our house, I also make sure my outfit and make-up look pretty. And since I wear the same make-up every day, it's quite hard for me to go for something else ( mainly cause I suck at everything else that is not mascara and eyeliner).

When I got my early Christmas gift from Eryk two years ago, which was the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette, it made things a bit easier.

My Christmas make-up this year will look like this:

I think it is not overly different. It looks quite delicate, yet pretty enough to wear on a special day.

I'll quickly talk you through all the products I've used, so you can recreate this look if you want, or get some of the products in case you liked them.

Starting off with the base...
My make-up base is always the same, except for the powder that I sometimes have to switch because of a tan or fading tan etc.
First step is of course concealer. Back in the UK I always used the Collection concealer, which is the best, but here I had to find something else that would be good enough to cover my undereye circles. I read many good reviews on the Catrice Liquid Camouflage ones, so I now repurchase them all the time. They are pretty good, have a very light weight consistency and are not sold out all the time ( like the Collection one).
I always get shade 010 Porcelain for the eyes and 020 Light Beige for any spots.
Then I go over to some powder. I usually use my Bourjois Healthy Balance one, but recently I went for a slightly darker one from Astor, the Mattitude Powder in 005 Beige. It is quite alright, but nothing compared to my favourite Bourjois one.
Next step is bronzer of course. My face always stays pale, even in summer, so I have to use quite an amount of bronzer to look healthier. My favourite one by far is the Delice de Poudre by Bourjois in shade 52. I've had it for ages and I will definitely get a new one too.

Next up: blush und highlighter

I recently got the beautiful Artdeco Crystal Garden Blusher, which has some tiny Swarovski crystals on the lid and it just looks so pretty. It is a combination of 3 different pink colours that create that perfect blush and glow for any skin type I think. It is not too pink, which I thought at first, so I really like using it.
And when my base is nearly done, I use some highlighter from the brand Wibo. It's a Polish drugstore brand that somehow got quite good over the last years and everyone is hyping this highlighter. It comes in a pretty, delicate champagne colour. It gives you a beautiful shine and I just love using it on a daily basis.

Next step: eyes

First, I used the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette, which has 5 gorgeous rose-gold, copper and brown shades that suit my complexion the most in my opinion. I don't use it too often like I said before, but I love it for special occasions. These shadows only come in this palette and the ones I used are called: Dive, Fix and Resist. ( The first 3 ones from the left)

Then I went for some sparkly purple eyeliner underneath my lower lashline, to add the whole look a little pop of colour.  The eyeliner is from Avon and it's the glimmerstick diamonds eyeliner in shade sugar plum ( I also have a black sparkly one, but this time I went for purple)
And of course the eye look wouldn't be finished with a delicate, black winged eyeliner. I think it just gives my eye so much definition and it kind of makes it more awake. I used the Clarins Instant liner in the shade 01 black, which is a liquid liner with a felt tip, that I normally never use, but this one just has such a great pigmentation and it's easier to use on top of eyeshadow than a gel liner.

And finally, my favourite drugstore mascara, the Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycraflex one, which makes my lashes really long and keeps them up throughout the whole day. From all the mascaras I've tried, this one works the best for me ( apart from Rollerlash and Perversion)

To finish this festive look off, I am going for a bold red lip. This Mac Viva Glam lipstick is such a beautiful dark red colour and it's perfect for autumn and winter, plus it stays on for absolute ages too!

Hope you liked this festive make-up look! :)

Today I am finally off to Poland and I want to upload one more post on Christmas Eve, so we'll see how that goes with the whole preparation stress! :)

Anyways, I wish you all a merry Christmas! <3

My Winter Skincare (Ziaja, Kiehl's, Treacle Moon, Le Petit Marseillais)

Today I decided it was time again for a more beauty related post, so I thought talking about winter skincare might be interesting to some of you.
First, I have to say that I am a VERY lazy person when it comes to using skincare regularly, and what is also important is that due to my Psoriasis, my skin gets really dry over a few weeks every winter and summer. This gets really annoying because when I take off my jeans at the end of the day, they will be covered with white, dead skin cells on the inside. This is exactly what happens when you have Psoriasis, your skin regenerates much, much faster than it should and as a result your skin always seems dry and needs proper skincare to stay smooth and silky.
Of course, you should also keep your skin moistured even if you don't have any skin issues!

I picked a product for showering, moisturising my body, hands and face, so let's check out the products!

The first product I wanted to quickly talk about is a shower gel from Le Petit Marseillais and I always get this brand from Poland from the German drugstore Rossmann, which means that probably you can also get it in Germany, though not in Austria. I don't think UK has them either.
Le Petit Marseillais has a few scent ranges and I already spoke about it a few times on my blog because I just really love their shower gels. I always get the regular ones that come in that boxy shaped bottle, but last time when I was in Poland I went for this slightly fancier shower gel that contains hazelnut oil and royal jelly. Now, you will probably know that royal jelly is really good for your skin, so I just had to try it out. It is also not really a shower gel, but more of a shower oil, though it does not have a greasy consistency or anything. However, you can tell it hydrates your skin better and a little goes a long way. I am not too keen on the smell, because when it comes to skincare I always have to see if I like the smell. I am not saying this shower oil smells bad, but to me it just has more of a standard creamy-like scent that is not overly special. Still, it is a great product that is really affordable.

After taking a shower I do force myself to moisturise as often as possible, but I really hate waiting for creams to soak in. Now, a few days ago I received this body lotion from Ziaja that comes in a spray and this is pretty much life changing. The application is so easy, the lotion is really light weight and it soaks into your skin within seconds, so that you can get dressed immediately after applying it. It has a delicate, refreshing cucumber and mint scent and is suitable for all skin types.
Read more about this skincare range HERE!

Face moisturisers are always so annoying to me and I hardly ever use them, but now that my skin is literally flaking off I just have to moisture every morning and night. In the mornings I usually use this ultra fracial cream by Kiehl's, which has a very light weight consistency too, so you really need just a tiny amount of it to hydrate your whole face. After a few seconds you can start applying your make-up and your skin will just feel much more relaxed and it will also look much better.
I really like the design of this product because it is very simple and it also looks really fancy, but I don't like the smell at all. I remember a lipbalm from Blistex that I bought years ago and it said it had no scent but in reality it had this exact smell and I think that it smells of chestnuts?! I don't even know if this is what chestnuts smell but for years I always had this impression and I really can't stand this smell. This is also why I only use this cream before putting on my make-up and never before bed time, because then I'd have to smell it until I fall asleep. It is very good though, just the smell doesn't impress me.

And also very important: hand cream. Again, I have never been the person that would use hand creams, but over the last few years, since I started working, I realised how dry my hands are and that they feel really rough. Very often the skin on my knuckles cracks open and then it hurts quite a lot. Also, due to the ice cold temperatures that we have now, my hands are a nightmare. For this reason I always keep this tiny hand cream from treaclemoon in my handbag and try to use it on my breaks and whenever I feel like I really have terribly dry hands already.
The hand cream smells of coconut but it also comes in three different scents and I just couldn't decide. And for some reason I now feel like the three other scents are much better than this one because they are fruity and fresh, whereas this one is quite a heavy one, that I don't always like. Still, it's not too bad and it has a cool monochrome look. I totally need to get a new one after using up this cream because they are just so practical! The cream comes in a 75ml container and it really fits into every handbag or beauty bag.

Those are my life savers at the moment, when the days are grey and ice cold. Do you have any good skincare products? Leave your suggestions in the comments!

What I Like About Christmas

I seriously can't believe that Christmas Eve is already in three days! Due to work and uni, the time went by so quickly that I didn't even realise that the year is coming to an end, and therefore, Christmas is just around the corner too.

I am usually the person, who will always choose summer over winter, but then again, I really love Christmas. I love Christmas because of the way we celebrate it in Poland, I think it's quite special and magical.

Every year we go to Poland, to spend the Christmas holidays with my whole family, and also this year we're going, except that we only have three days off this time. Still, I'm sure we will enjoy it and have a great time.

There are so many things I like about Christmas....

I do hate the cold for sure, but running back home to get a hot cup of delicious Earl Grey tea with that zingy lemon taste in it is priceless to me. Like I said once: tea is life. In summer you can't drink too much hot tea, so the cold season is actually made for tea I guess.

Snow on Christmas Eve became a distant memory by now, because over the last few years we never had any snow in Poland during Christmas and we secretly always hope for it because it would make it even more special and beautiful. And yes, I usually also do hate snow ( because, like yesterday, when it was snowing here in Vienna, it was freezing cold, the snow was coming from every possible direction and it really was no fun to me), but on those few days when I can stay at home in the cosy, christmassy atmosphere, I really do find it acceptable and adequate I'd say. For some reason, the seasons have shifted a lot and now every time we spend Easter in Poland, it's snowing every year, but never on Christmas.

Shopping gifts and wrapping them all up is quite a difficult task when you have a rather big family, but it is somehow quite fun to me, if  I obviously plan everything in advance, and don't struggle with time, like I did this year. I still managed to get all gifts and I hope everyone will like them, and I am also really excited for my gifts already, because I always have an idea of what I might get, but I never know everything.
I like wrapping up gifts with a nice cup of tea and good music, a cosy outfit and just a whole, lazy day. I feel like then you really get to feel that Christmas is SO soon!

The streets during Christmas time are always so busy here in Vienna because of all the amazing Christmas markets and tourists, but when we go to Poland, to the countrysite, it's just so quiet and peaceful. I love it when it's really quiet outside in the evening when we all "wait" for Santa and the kids get all excited and we go out in the freezing cold to "look" for Santa and the streets are so quiet, with nobody around- I think it is so relaxing and it adds some magic to Christmas too.

And of course- the food. I always plan on loosing one or two kilograms before Christmas so that by the time it's Christmas and we get all the delicious food, I can actually eat it all without gaining too much weight, but I am never that successful and then towards the end of the festive season I feel like I'm about to explode and my stomach will surely die. We always have loads to eat and everybody eats until they can't anymore and then all of us lay on my aunt's huge sofa and we just watch movies and talk and relax until we go back to eating again. Does that not sound great?

What do you like about Christmas???

Christmas Baking

Every year around the second week of December, my mum and I start baking all the Christmas biscuits, and since we always bring them to Poland for Christmas, we actually have to prepare a lot of them.
I am pretty sure in Poland you usually only bake gingerbread biscuits and decorate them, whereas in Austria, you get a huge selection of delicious biscuits. There is a great choice for everyone!
My mum and I always bake the famous "Vanillekipferl" and "Linzeraugen", which are filled with apricot jam, or sometimes with a different kind too. These are actually my favourite ones, and I think that most of the younger people in my family prefer those, while the "older" ones like the Vanillekipferl best.
Of course you can buy ready baked and decorated Christmas biscuits in every shop at this time of the year, but to me baking them is also a very important part of the Christmas tradition.
I love it when you sit in the kitchen on a gloomy, snowy ( or rainy day like today) and all you do is bake biscuits all day long. The delicious smell of vanilla and cinnamon fills the house and that very moment really feels like Christmas is close.

I was looking back on what I did exactly two years ago, and at that time I was in Scotland, I didn't have my mum around, I had to do everything on my own, the shopping, the laundry, cooking, paper work, and when Christmas was close, I also had to bake all on my own. I remember the gingerbread men I was baking, with a nice candle on the counter top, some nice music and the smell of oranges and cloves filled the air. You can go and check it out here. It was a different kind of Christmas time for me because all I had was Eryk and Maya really, but on Christmas eve and the following festive days I was reunited with my family and I think being with your loved ones on Christmas is the most important thing. And of course, my mum baked the delicious biscuits again, which this time tasted even better to me.

Even though we were now baking for a few hours, and a few days ago too, shortly before Christmas we will also bake a few cakes, and then again I will enjoy the baking time with my mum.

Are you baking Christmas biscuits too? If yes, let me know which ones you like best!

My Christmas Wishlist 2016

The last week before Christmas just began and now it is really just around the corner.
And if I'm honest, I still don't quite now what I'd like to get this year. However, I came up with a few ideas that would make great gifts for me, so let's have a look!

1. Moschino - Chic Petals perfume
Before I first discovered this perfume, I was totally in love with Escada's Cherry in the air and when they discontinued it my heart pretty much broke. It took me some time to find another perfume that I'd like just as much, and it's the Chic petals perfume by Moschino.
It smells very glamourous, though still pretty sweet, which I really like. I have already been asked SO many times what perfume I'm using and I am still surprised every time I hear that question.
It is obviously not a regular drug store perfume, so it's a teeny tiny bit more pricey, however, it's very intense and lasts for ages! ( I got my last one in April and I will still have it probably throughout the whole month of January!)

2. Woodwick Candle
A few years ago I already got a Woodwick candle for Christmas and to me they are just the best candles ever! They come in so many scent varieties, sizes and shapes that it's really difficult to just pick one at a time. But the best thing about them is that they make a cracking noise when they are burning and they sound like a fireplace. So they are definitely not just any regular candles, they are pretty cool! I have to say though that not everybody likes them as much as me, for example Eryk is always freaking out a bit cause he has the feeling that something is on fire. :D

3. Casio Watch
I have never been a watch person and I only got myself a watch for the first time when I passed my finals. Before that I only got one watch gifted when I was around 10 or so I think. It was from the brand STAMPS and it looked really cool but it's just too bulky for my wrist. So when I was looking for the perfect watch two years ago I chose a Swatch with a long strap that you wrap around your wrist twice. I like it a lot but the battery died and for some reason I am too lazy to go and get it exchanged. Still, I do need a watch at work and uni too so I decided to get my hands on a retro Casio watch that somehow everyone seems to like at this moment.
The reason why I want exactly this model is because of the digital display. Normal watches take me quite a while to figure out what time it is, so this one would be just perfect.

4. Bourjois Bronzer
If any of you had one of those, you will know that they last for years! I've had mine for nearly 3 years now and only a few months back I hit the pan. It's now getting more and more difficult to use it, but it will still last me for probably half a year or longer. Still, I want a new one, just in case they decide to discontinue it for some reason ( like the Escada perfume, or Bourjois in general in Austria).
For many people the bronzer seems to be too orange but with my complexion it works great, especially in summer or with foundation. I have to be honest and say that I tend to use quite a lot of bronzer for my contour because without it I feel like a potato face.

5. Tangle Teezer
I bought my Tangle Teezer two years ago just after Christmas and I immediately realised what a difference it makes. My mum always spent ages on detangling my thick hair ( it used to be much thicker than it is now), and I wish we had a Tangle Teezer back then because it would save us a lot of time, energy and hair. I can't use any other hair brush anymore and I really recommend a Tangle Teezer for all the girls who have the same problem as me. I have to brush my hair so many times throughout the day so that it stays pretty, and thanks to the Tangle Teezer I am done within a few seconds.
The problem is that when I blow dry my hair, I always use the tanngle teezer to brush through my hair and due to the heat the bristles melted a bit and they are not so straight anymore. I also dropped it quite a few times and it's now falling apart in two pieces so often and that's really annoying. This definitely calls for a new one!

Let me know what you're wishing/ hoping for this year!

NEW Ziaja Cucumber Mint Range

Hello everyone!
Today I didn't really plan on blogging because initially I had no time for it but since I'm poorly at home and just received a surprise Christmas parcel from Ziaja Austria, I had to blog about it straight away!

The parcel contained a new range of skincare products for the face as well as the body, plus a pretty wax melt burner and a matching mint wax from Kringle. So cool!
The best thing about this cucumber mint range is that it's suitable for all skin types! So, if you're not 100% sure about your skin type or want to gift some skincare products to someone but you don't know their skin type either- this is a great range!
It is available right now online for Austria in the ziajashop !
In my parcel I received the cucumber mint body lotion, a micellar gel and a face cream.

The Cucumber mint body lotion comes in a 200ml bottle and it actually comes in the form of a lightweight spray, which I find very cool and handy.
After spraying the lotion onto your skin, all you have to do is gently massage it in and it soaks into your skin straight away. I love lotions that only take seconds to apply and that don't need ages to dry - so this is definitely going to be a new favourite for me!
The spray lotion contains lactobiotic acid, reduces roughness and soothes irritations, apart from hydrating your skin very well. And only a few days ago I've been complaining about how terribly my skin got this winter again. I am literally flaking and I really hope this lotion will solve my problem within a few days.

The second product is a cucumber mint micellar gel, which again sounds very interesting and innovative to me. I have never heard of a micellar gel before so I am very curious about it and can't wait to give it a try.
It comes in a 200ml bottle with a pump, and pumps are always great because they make everything much easier- it doesn't get messy, you won't spill any product etc.
This micellar gel also contains the lactobiotic acid, it effectively cleanses any skin type and smooths the skin.
When you apply it to your skin it creates a soft foam and then leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. Once you're done, just rinse the excess off with some lukewarm water and you're ready to go to bed, or start applying your make-up, or just ready to go without having to do anything after that.

And finally, we have a cucumber mint face cream, which is moisturising as well as soothing various irritations, of course again suitable for all skin types.
It also smooths your skin and provides with enough elasticity.
Thanks to the fresh and delicate smell, this cream will wake you up every morning and keep your skin hydrated all day long.

I wanted to thank Ziaja Österreich once more for this cute Christmas gift- I definitely love it already!

Let me know if you're excited about this range or if you maybe already managed to try it out!

All The Stress Before Christmas

It's such a shame that the time before Christmas always seems to be so, so stressful. And therefore the days go by so quickly that you still don't get to do everything you are supposed to do.
For example, I had loads of assingments to do that are due in two days and I'm working every day that I'm not spending at uni. I still have some uni work to do, I didn't get all the Christmas shopping done yet and due to all the busy days I didn't even have the chance yet to go to a Christmas market, I didn't decorate my flat at all and it doesn't feel very festive yet I think.
I will still be busy right up to Christmas, but I hope that I will ecentually get into that Christmas spirit too!

A few days ago I was thinking of blogging over the last five to six days before Christmas because seeing everyone do Vlogmas, I am kind of sad that I don't even manage to post twice a week anymore, yet alone vlog every day.
Hopefully my 5 days of "blogmas" will be chilled out and full of that festive feeling. :)

So stay tuned, because on Sunday we start! Also if you have an idea of what I could blog about, feel free to let me know in the comments! :)

3 Tips For A Relaxing Evening

After many many weeks full of stress, exams and work, I can now take a little break because I'm done with my exams for now, but I still have one presentation next week and 2 written assignments to do until the 15th of December. However, the worst things are over and this is why tonight I could actually after a long time, sit down in cosy clothes, put up my feet and enjoy a good cup of tea and some amazing gingerbread. ( once again, because yes- I do love gingerbread!)

My tips for a relaxing evening are simple, yet they are really good if you need some time for yourself.

1) Make sure you are cosy, wrapped up in soft blankets and have a cosy spot on the sofa or bed to watch some series, videos or movies.

2) What is just as important is something delicious, warm to drink- tea, hot chocolate or even coffee if that makes you happy. And of course, some snacks. Snacks are important. I couldn't live without snacks to be honest.

3) Light some fragranced candles, or burn some wax, which is maybe even better. Turn on fairy lights instead of those bright LED light bulbs ( which I have everywhere) .Create a warm, cosy atmosphere that will let you relax and tank some energy before a new, stressful day begins.

Let me know what you like doing after a stressful week! :)

Christmas in Vienna

Hello everyone!
Time is flying by so fast and I didn't even realise that I haven't posted in ages already!
This month is busier than I expected, so I'm trying to finish off all the homeworks, presentations and revise for my exams, plus I'm also working and somehow I don't even get time to sit down and watch a series, have a cup of tea and just relax for some time. So I really can't wait for my Christmas break, where I'll still have to work, but on the other days I will manage to do everything else I have to.

Last week Eryk pretty spontaneously decided to come and stay for a few days since he had some time off. I had my exam week so I was rather nervous about this idea, but Eryk was relaxing, playing games and watching videos, while I was studying all day long until my exams.
On one of these days I decided that I needed a short break so we decided to go to the city centre for an hour or two, just to have a stroll around, look at the small Christmas market there, and the Christmas lights etc.
CHECK OUT THE VLOG HERE!

Have a nice first advent! :)

What About My Blog?

Hello everybody!
I hope you're all doing well and that autumn didn't already put you in the worst mood ever.

My life is really busy at the moment, which is why I currently don't post anything. It annoys me every day and I wish I could go back to the time when I first started blogging, uploading new posts DAILY! Looking at it now I'm really impressed by that and I ask myself how I managed to do that. But then again- I only went to school, I didn't have to study as much as I have to now, and I also didn't work, which makes a huge difference.

Having uni and work on every day of the week apart from Sunday really makes you struggle with your free time. All the free time I manage to find, I spend on studying or sleeping.

I am so angry at myself that I don't blog anymore, but I just really don't have enough time to think of nice topics, take nice shots and write interesting entries. I have many ideas but just don't get to make them happen.

Recently I've been thinking of writing posts in advance, and scheduling them for the whole week. I could write 2 or 3 on days I don't have as much to do, because I really want to use my blog to show you things, to tell you things.

About two or three weeks ago, when I posted a few entries in a row, I had so many clicks that I was somewhat confused and so surprised, but it definitely felt good cause I knew that you were having a look at what I've created. And I wish I could go on with blogging like I used to, so let's keep our fingers crossed!

And: thank you for reading my blog :)

National Holiday 2016

Hello everybody!

Yesterday we had our National Holiday here in Austria, so like every year we headed into the city centre for a nice family walk. The weather is actually much better this week than it was over the last ones, which is very good. I could even leave my winter jacket at home, so that's a big plus.
I must say that I was a bit disappointed by this years' National Holiday, because usually it's at one location, every year it's the same one, and this year it was scattered all over different areas, which was very confusing and unusual. But still, it was a nice day out.

After our long walk around all the pretty, cobbled streets of Vienna, we went to a Chinese restaurant for some food, which was so tasty! We ate so much though, that once we got home we all had to nap first. And somehow I didn't manage to put this post up anymore, so that's why I'm doing it today!

I wanted to study all day long today but due to some issues I wasn't home til now, so I only have a few hours left to revise.
Tomorrow is just another busy day- first I have a uni class early in the morning and then I have to work for the rest of the day + Saturday too.

I wanted to wear something more fancy yesterday on that special day, but somehow I again ended up wearing my favourite outfit, which you can also find here!
And here's the outfit I wore last year! ( Much more fancy )

Hope you all Austrian people had a nice day too! :)

Cosy Autumn Outfit

The Semester has only begun 2 weeks ago and I am already running out of time. I don't get to blog regularly anymore because of my days at uni and work, so all I have left to do everyhing is Sunday, and this again is not enough when I have to do all my homework, revision, house work, vlog editing, blogging etc.

I also thought we would have a nice warm, sunny autumn, but turns out it is only grey, freezing and windy, often rainy and you really don't want to leave the house anymore.

One day I was looking through my wardrobe and I realised that most of my stuff is great for summer, but not warm enough for the colder months, so I decided to get some new more cosy bits in.
Now, over tha last few weeks I was wearing the same jumper over and over again. Even in one vlog I realised that I wore it everyday! It's so chunky and warm that I never want to take it off, so it looks like I need to get more new jumpers in the next weeks.

I also realised that I had so many pairs of jeans and only one would fit me nicely, but since it's a low rise jegging it won't go with every top, and after weeks of struggling with finding a good outfit ( and always opting for skirts instead) I thought it was about time I went into town to have a look at some high waisted jeans. And I absolutely hate jeans shopping because I can NEVER find a nice looking one. But, before I started wearing skirts on a daily basis I used to shop my jeans at Bershka only so I gave it a try this week. And I actually found a pair that I love! ( And it was so cheap!)

grey chunky sweater- Forever21
grey washed high rise skinny jeans - Bershka
black suede boots - Voegele Shoes
burgundy cross body bag - Vigneron

The jeans are suuper elastic and I took the jumper in size M so it's a bit bigger on me and more comfy. I love this outfit and I could seriously wear it every day now!

Such a shame I have to wear my winter jacket already on top of all that cosiness.

Did you already change your wardrobe for Autumn?

Ziaja Cosmetics Haul + Discount Code!

Hey everyone! Being ill and not having to work nor study gives me enough time for blogging, which is nice because I got pretty crap at blogging lately.

Today I'm back with a post about a few new things I've tried from Ziaja.
I got all the products a few weeks ago and wanted to spend some time testing them all before writing a whole blog post about them. Now the time has come, so let's get straight into it!

The first product is the Ziaja Grapefruit with green mint hand soap and this is a new addition to their range actually, so I just had to test it straight away!
I totally fell for the beautiful monochrome look of the soap, with the pretty writing and the cute red grapefruit on the bottom. I wish all soaps would look as beautiful as this one.

The soap smells heavenly ( I do love the scent of grapefruits!) and for some reason I really like shower gels and soaps that smell of grapefruits.
What surprised me about the soap is that it's bright green, but I guess mint is green so it's adequate.
The soap gets rid of grease and bad smell quickly, leaving your hands very clean, soft and moisturised!
The soap also comes in 3 different scents: Grapefruit & green mint, tea & cinnamon, tamarind & green orange.
I'm sure the tea & cinnamon one will be amazing for the colder months of the year, so I also have to try that one out!

The second product is the Ziaja Manuka Tree purifying paste for oily & combination skin and oh my god is this great!
My skin has been a bit weird recently, with many clogged pores and dead skin peeling off my nose and this paste saved me just in time!
You use the paste like a face scrub, except that this is REALLY strong. It feels like sanding paper on your skin, so if your skin is really sensitive I would opt for the Manuka Tree wash gel instead.
The paste is harsh but it feels so good and your skin is so soft and glowing afterwards. It unclogs your pores effectively and prevents blackheads formation, which is exactly what I need.
I absolutely love this peeling paste and recommend it to everyone who has the same problems as me. It is amazing! I will so have to repurchase this once I'm done with this one.

The next product is a body scrub from the Orange butter range that I've never tried before. It says it's energising and at first I didn't really care but once I was in the shower, all tired and happy for my bed, after just opening the tub I was wide awake! The zingy, fresh smell of oranges fills the bathroom within seconds and somehow it changed my mood for the better.
The scrub has quite harsh particles in a jelly like substance. It cleanses and massages your skin nicely, it enhances blood circulation and brings oxygen to your cells. The scrub immediately made my legs look much firmer and the skin looked glowy and had a healthy colour after all the dead skin cells were removed.
The bad thing is that when I was using it, it fell in the bath tub and nearly half of it ran out, which made me really sad. It is another product I'm happy to have! It is definitely great for any kind of skin type and it only takes seconds to use it!

Now the Ziaja Subtle Bronze body lotion is something I've seen in Poland already ages ago and always wanted to buy it but was scared of orange patches. However, now I decided to get it and try it out finally. And I love it. This is basically a self tanning lotion, which is much easier to apply evenly than I thought. I used it a couple of times and it always looked very pretty AND natural, so you definitely don't get an orange skin tone, you don't get weird dark streaks when you massage it into your skin thoroughly. It is such a great product to start using when summer ends because you can kind of keep your tan for a longer time and/or stay tanned until the next one! I do tend to get really pale during winter, so let's hope this year it won't be the same. And I also just realised there is even a self tanning face cream, which is even better cause my face always looks so white and unhealthy, so I might also get that one!

And the last product I've tested is a Ziaja regenerating olive oil hair conditioner. Now I never go for natural hair products because they always make it look even worse, but this time I thought: You can't go wrong with a natural conditioner. So I ordered one and I have to say that after using it my hair felt really soft and other than that I couldn't tell a difference to what it looks like when I use "stronger" conditioners, so I might as well switch over to this conditioner now.
It is a bit liquid so I had to use quite a lot to spread it well in all of my hair, but the effect was great! I was really surprised. It really does what is says and I think that's important. Plus, it's so affordable that everyone should go and get this! You can also get the matching shampoo and hair mask for a better effect.

To sum up I can say that all of the 5 products were new to me, I didn't read any reviews on them before ordering them and yet they still are all amazing! I think Ziaja really offer great products for such a good price, which is good for trying out new stuff!

I hope you enjoyed this post and then products I mentioned, for more products go to the online shop of Ziaja Austria : http://ziajashop.at/  , order a bunch of cool products and use my DISCOUNT CODE; olivialovesziaja5 to get 5 Euros off your order! An Unexpected Eyeshadow Palette Favourite | Too Faced

During my stay in Poland I accidentally found a TkMaxx and I just couldn't pass it without having a look through the beauty section. And I am so lucky I went in.

Seeing the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette I grabbed it quickly before anyone else spotted it and I knew it had to be mine. Cat eyes. My eyes look the best with some winged eyeliner and touch of a coppery, or darker shade, just to give them more definition. Now, this palette has all the colours I need, I just need to add some black eyeliner and I'm good to go.

This palette is perfect for autumn and winter and I was actually looking for a new palette for some time already, but just didn't find what I needed. I wanted both the copper and silver & black, but this somehow never gets offered in one palette. This palette however gives you three colour combinations you can go for, depending on what occasion, how heavy you want your make-up to be etc.
I actually never use eyeshadow on a daily basis because I am often scared it will go wrong. But now I decided to try it more often in order to practice my eyeshadow skills a bit.

I like the leopard print on the metal case of the palette, and it's handy size. It's not too big, not too small, and it just looks so pretty! It also comes with a small mirror on the inside and even some instructions on how to use the shadows together, which I find perfect, since I literally have no idea how to do a smokey eye or anything that involves more than one shadow.

As you can see, there are 3 light shades for the base , then next to them there is a bit of a darker shade and the last ones can be used wet or dry as eyeliner.
I think the first row is great for autumn because of the brownish, warm colours that I also think match my complexion well.
The second row is nice for spring and summer because of the lighter, purple shades and the last row is great for party make-up. And I was looking for silver and black for ages, as well as copper and for that reason this palette is just amazing!

Plus, most importantly: it was SUCH a bargain! :)

Let me know if you have this palette and if yes, how do you like it??

PS: Please go and check out my last vlog! :)

Lookbook from Toruń

If you haven't seen the first blog post from my Toruń "series" then check this out first!

The weather was better than I expected it to be and I also packed 4 outfits for the 3 days in case I would get something dirty or if I was too cold or uncomfortable etc.
I am actually really proud of myself because for the first time probably I packed really well and I didn't complain about my choices.

I took two jackets with me, one for the colder days and one for the warmer days. And I have to say that in the mornings and evenings I wore the cream furry jacket from Primark, whereas during the day I wore my bomber jacket from Forever21. And unfortunately for some reason we forgot the camera in the hotel room on the first day, so I don't have any good photos from that day.

DAY 1

I managed to take a quick and rubbish selfie that I sent to my mum after I got ready at the bus station bathroom at 7 am. On the ceremony day I wore this pretty dress in this rusty colour. It's a very body fitted dress with long sleeves but the dress itself is pretty short. It has some interesting detailing on the waist area and I just liked the overall look of it. I got the dress one day before my trip at Forever21. I thought it would also be great for other festive days throughout autumn as well as winter.
On top I wore my cream furry coat from Primark, which is just the softest thing ever! I love wearing it in autumn because it's not too thick, yet it keeps you warm.
I also wore black tights and my black boots and my burgundy Vigneron leather satchel.

After the ceremony we went to the hotel room to leave our luggage there and I changed my jackets because it got just too hot in the other one. Here I'm wearing my beautiful Forever21 bomber jacket that looked amazing with the dress!
My lipstick is Golden Rose Velvet Matte Nr. 16.
DAY 2

On the second day we got up pretty early and went into town to look for a nice cafe to have breakfast at and at that time it was misty and chilly, so I again went for my furry jacket. I also tied my hair in a ponytail that day and I never really realise how long my hair actually is until I see it from behind.

I wore no lipstick that morning because I was about to stuff my mouth with a delicious panini and a raspberry brownie coffee.
I decided to wear my dust pink sweater that I recently got from Forever21 after I realised that the days are getting really cold now and I had no warm sweaters at all. I love the colour of it and how well it goes with burgundy and cream ( and brown- like my hair).

Under the sweater I had my burgundy silky dress from Mango, which has some black mesh detailing at the bottom. ( That you can't see in any of the pictures actually).
I also had black tights on and some woollen black leg warmers and my black boots. I thought the leg warmers looked pretty cool, although I was a bit worried that my legs would look fat.

DAY 3

On the third day I wore some lipstick again, which makes me feel like my face gets more definition, which is good. It's Golden Rose Velvet Matte in the shade 14. I also freshly washed my hair and that's why it looks so ridiculously huge in these photos. Plus, I really need a hair cut so badly but don't know any hairdressers in Vienna, plus I kind of lack the time to go and it drives me crazy.

So, on the last day I wore my furry jacket again, another new Forever21 cardigan, but this time it's a really chunky, cosy one in a pretty dark grey colour. Underneath that I had a pink long sleeved crop top, which nobody could see, but hey, it was there!
My black skirt is more of a sporty one and I got it from Weekday. I like it a lot actually and it's just so comfy because it's elastic and it doesn't slide up my bum, so I don't have to worry that it will be exposed after taking some steps ( Woohoo, great choice!) Plus it also has pockets.
And again I wore black tights and the woollen leg warmers plus my boots. And I carried the umbrella with me all day cause it was raining in the morning before we left our Air B&B but it didn't rain for the rest of the day. Great.

Hope you liked the outfits I picked for that nice weekend away!
